🔹 Job Overview
We are hiring a hands-on Product Owner / QA to join a fast-growing consumer tech product.
This is a hybrid role, combining product ownership with manual quality assurance, where you will be responsible for shaping features and personally validating their quality before release.
This role is ideal for someone who understands product deeply and is equally comfortable testing mobile and web applications hands-on.
⚠️ This is not a coordination-only role.
You will actively test features yourself.
🔹 Responsibilities
1) Product Ownership
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define product requirements and priorities
- Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
- Translate product ideas into actionable, developer-ready requirements
- Manage and refine the product backlog
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release preparation
- Validate delivered features against business and user expectations
2) Quality Assurance (Hands-on)
- Create and maintain manual test cases
- Perform hands-on testing for:
Mobile applications (iOS & Android)
Web applications
- Conduct functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Simulate real user scenarios to identify edge cases and usability issues
- Log, track, and verify bugs through to resolution
- Ensure release readiness before production deployment
🔹 Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of combined experience in Product Ownership / Business Analysis / QA
- Strong experience with manual QA for mobile and web applications
- Proven ability to write:
User Stories
Acceptance Criteria
Test Cases
- Solid understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
- Hands-on experience using tools like Jira, Test Management tools, or similar
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment
🔹 Nice to Have
- ISTQB certification or QA-related training
- Experience with consumer-facing or mobile-first products
- Familiarity with startup environments
