At Fekra, we are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer who can own WordPress websites end-to-end, with a strong focus on Elementor development, performance optimization, and clean plugin management.
📌 Position: Senior WordPress Developer (Elementor + Performance Specialist)
🌍 Location: 100% Remote – Flexible, work from anywhere
💼 Job Type: Full‑time (200 hours per month / 50 hours per week)
💰 Salary: Competitive USD Salary – Get paid in USD.

📝 About the Role
Include all tools, technologies, hosting platforms, performance experience, security work, and any enterprise-level WordPress projects.
This role is hands-on and execution-driven. You will work on real production websites, build and optimize landing pages, customize WooCommerce flows, audit plugins, and improve site speed using measurable performance metrics — not trial and error.
🛠 Key Responsibilities
- Build, customize, and maintain WordPress websites using Elementor (landing pages, templates, reusable sections).
- Customize WooCommerce (checkout flow, emails, product pages, user experience).
- Develop and maintain clean custom code when needed (PHP, JavaScript, CSS).
- Perform plugin audits: justify usage, remove unnecessary plugins, and reduce bloat.
- Optimize website performance using clear benchmarks (e.g. Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, TTFB).
- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure stability, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with design and content teams to deliver fast, reliable updates.
🎓 Must-Have Requirements
- 5+ years of professional WordPress development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Elementor (real projects, not basic usage).
- Solid experience with WooCommerce customization.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proven experience in performance optimization with measurable results.
- Clear ownership mindset: you can explain why each plugin exists and what it does.
Nice-to-Have
- Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) with dynamic content in Elementor.
- Experience with caching, CDN, or Cloudflare.
- WordPress security hardening experience.
- Website migration experience (legacy systems to WordPress).
